Apostolic Temple was founded by a vision Rev Richard Hernandez had in 2018 along with his wife, Esther Hernandez.  The church started services in an old abandon theater on Jensen Dr Houston Texas with no electricity.  The Word of God was preached with the doors open wide.  After almost a year the church moved to a building that once was a bar.  The building was gutted out and transformed into a church.  Pastor Hernandez contacted Covid in 2020 and was not able to attend church.  When it was clear to open his assistant Rev Alfonso Alvarez resumed services.  After the passing of Pastor Hernandez in 2022, Rev Alvarez was elected pastor of Apostolic Temple of North Houston.
